Harlem Books is a small but growing online publishing company dedicated to bringing Afrocentric Fantasy Fiction to urban audiences and beyond. The popularity of fantasy fiction is mushrooming across all genres, but people of color have yet again gone ignored by the mainstream multimedia industries. Instead, Hollywood and the publishing gods continue to churn out the same old black stereotypical and 70’s blaxploitative themes.

While we at Harlem Books reach out to all discerning readers (of every color, nationality and creed), our works are primarily aimed at the long neglected African-American lovers of fantasy fiction and legendary tales of ancient Nubian, Kushite and Kemetic civilizations.

Our epic tales, like SECRET OF THE NILE VALLEY and the AUSARIAN PROPHESY are rich in black history and framed in extraordinary African mythologies and the esoteric sciences of the High Nile Mystery System. And, while immensely entertaining, our books provide informative insights into our present social conditions; as well as, valuable predictions about the unfolding new world order.

As an author, I write novels that speak to a higher consciousness. My stories render visions of life that nourish the imagination and promote the rise of new global perspectives.

In addition to challenging the mind, my stories are charged with heart-wrenching emotion where meaty characters are forced to confront the eternal paradoxes of romance and betrayal, fellowship and envy, good and evil, love and hate, and life and death.

While my themes are universal in scope, they also offer unique twist of fate. One might also say that my storylines are as realistic as tomorrow’s headlines.  What I like to refer to as thought experiments, my novels erase so-called boundaries, suspend ordinary thinking, and incite a new consciousness; both transcendental and mystical.

AMERICAN MESSIAH, my initial work, tears down world civilization in order to speculate about how human nature will react. It further looks at the psychological, sociological, and physical ramifications of living in the aftermath of the apocalypse, where technology is sparse and man is stripped of his machines.
